Good In the Hood

I was sitting at my desk after a discussion with a friend and was really saddened.  I needed a pick me up of sorts to quit thinking about all of the negative things in life, whether it be racism, poverty, animosity, economy or whatever.

Anyway after hitting up facebook and connecting with a friend, who mentioned studying his bible, I figured why not do the same.  I’ll listen to some scriptures while I knock out my design work.  While listening, a scripture in 2 Corinthians sparked a memory of an old song.

So I hopped on youtube and began listening.  And usually, for me anyway, one thought leads to another and I thought of this song by Tye Tribbett that I heard at the beginning of last year that I really appreciated. The title of the song is “Good in the Hood.“

I decided to look it up and it really made my day.  Sometimes it’s good to get confirmation about the things you care about and realize that there are bright spots in every aspect of life.  So I decided to share with all those who come by to check out WGO.
